To ask the Minister of Health to detail any engagement his Department has had with the Department for the Economy in relation to the impact of menopause on women’s participation in the workplace, including the need for improved employer awareness and support, during the 2022-27 Assembly mandate.

Responsibility for resources or guidance for employers is a matter for the Minister for the Economy.
No approach has been made by the Department for the Economy to my Department regarding the impact of menopause on women’s participation in the workplace or on employer awareness and support.
However, there is a range of online resources available on menopause, both for women and employers, including on NI Direct, NI Business Info and on the website of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
