To ask the Minister of Education to detail any of the Local Area Based Youth Provision Funding opportunities that have not been successfully awarded.

Answer

All funding opportunities were released by the Education Authority in November and assessments took place in December 2025.

Two areas received no applications and 17 areas for which applications were received, were not successful in the assessment process.

On Thursday 5 February, EA agreed to a limited opportunity for previous applicants to reconsider and re-submit their application funding awards.
