Answer

My Department became aware of the UK Government’s intention to make reforms to health and disability benefits following the announcement of the Autumn Budget by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 30 October 2024.

My Department subsequently became aware of the intention to bring forward a Green Paper following publication of the Get Britain Working White Paper on 26 November 2024.

Detail of the proposals contained in the Green Paper were not made available to my Department before 18 March 2025.
