Answer
I can advise that £275,000 has been allocated in the current financial year for the B15 Glenshesk Road slippage of 27 March 2024.
This funding has been used to facilitate surveys, progress the design process, and allow for commencement of the construction phase, subject to completion of the detailed design and favourable weather conditions.
Further funding to complete the necessary repair works at Glenshesk, will be provided from next financial year’s structural maintenance budget once this has been finalised.
