Answer
My statement of 3 July 2024 is clear in its acknowledgement of the important work of the Culture, Arts and Heritage Taskforce and in stating that the insights, observations and recommendations presented in “Investing in Creative Delivery” provide the basis for the policy development work to be undertaken for arts and for the built-heritage and the historic environment.
Far from seeking to duplicate the work of the taskforce, the work being undertaken by my officials will be built upon it.
