Answer
This issue is an operational matter for Libraries NI
I have sought the requested information from the Chief Executive, who has advised me as follows:
“The project being delivered by Libraries NI to refurbish and improve the energy efficiency of the Ballymoney library facility is progressing at pace with construction works scheduled to complete mid-May 2024. Commissioning of systems, provision of furniture, equipment and library stock will then take place, and it is planned that the facility will reopen to the public early in June 2024”.
For any future queries relating to operational matters, you may wish to contact Libraries NI directly. Making direct contact with the ALB will ensure that you receive the information in the shortest possible timeframe and make best use of public resources.
